Ejection Baffles

Baffles are used to eliminate the need for recovery wadding in a model rocket. To install one in a new rocket that uses a coupler, simply install the assembled baffle kit instead of the coupler.

For existing rockets, you may still be able to install a baffle, depending on where the shock cord was initially installed. You'd want to glue the assembled baffle inside the airframe, towards the nose cone. Make sure you leave enough room for parachute, shock cord, and nose cone shoulder.

These baffles include laser-cut plywood wooden discs for optimal strength and durability.
