Dr Zooch Rockets Return To Flight Space Shuttle

The Space Shuttle orbiter is an actual glider which makes for really cool flights. The rocket flies up, and releases the orbiter at apogee. Watch it glide down while the rocket recovers with its own parachute.

The Space Shuttle is roughly 10" tall, the orbiter measures about 7" long.

Edmonds Twinsee   Edmonds Twinsee

The Edmonds Twinsee model rocket kit includes two gliders. These are joined together for launch and separate when the ejection charge fires. Each aircraft glides down individually.

Only one rocket engine is required per flight. Recommended motors are : B4-2, B4-4, and C6-5.

Building this set of gliders only takes about two hours. A single Twinsee kit includes all parts, and enough balancing clay, needed to build two gliders.

Squirrel Works Red Baron

The design for this boost glider was inspired by World War II biplanes. This unique style makes the Red Baron glider an immediate favorite at launches.

The kit even comes with a selection of iron cross water-slide decals. You are in charge of the rocket's final appearance.

Send it up on a A8-3, B4-2, B6-2 or B6-4 and watch it come gliding down.

All balsa pieces are laser-cut. Once assembled, the Red Baron is 9.22" long with an impressive 9.25" wingspan. Squirrel Works lists the weight for this model as 0.5oz.
