Motor Blocks

These model rocket parts are also used to prevent the motor from pushing into the airframe. However, they do not prevent the motor from getting pushed out when the ejection charge fires. A little masking tape can be used to secure the motor on the aft end. This item is ideal for minimum diameter rockets, where engine hooks can not be used.

Launch Lugs

Lugs are attached to model rockets so they can slide onto a launch rod. This is needed to help ensure safe and stable flights.

Solid Balsa Connectors

Similar to couplers, these are solid and do let ejection gasses pass through. Be sure your recovery gear is located below these connectors in your rocket.
