24mm Motor Retainer These quality motor retainers are precision-machined from aluminum and are anodized. Made in the USA. Full set weight : 0.25oz/7g. These motor retainers are for use with 24mm motors. This includes Estes D/E motors, Cesaroni Pro24, Aerotech single use and reloadable RMS 24mm motors. Once installed, the retainer doesn't require any tools to operate. Simply install the model rocket motor, and screw on the cap.

The full set includes both body (threaded on the outside) and the retainer cap. You can also buy these parts separately. One motor retainer body is permanently installed on each rocket. The cap can be moved between rockets as needed.

The 24mm retainers shown for sale work with Rocketarium (BT50), Estes (BT50), Aerotech, LOC, and other paper model rocket tubes. See the installation instructions for details.

Model rocket motors with a thrust ring (such as Aerotech RMS motors) do not require an engine block installed in the rocket. Motors without a thrust ring (such as Estes D/E) either require a motor block in the rocket, or can be friction fit.
