The Launch Pad Nike Ajax MIM-3A Surface-to-Air Missile
The Nike Ajax MIM-3A was the first operational Surface-to-Air Missile put into service in 1953. This skill level 4 kit is an excellent choice for more experienced modelers. It engages the enemy on a cluster of three 24mm motors. When finished, this large model rocket measures an impressive 55.5" tall. The rocket is BT80 (2.6" diameter) based and flies on a cluster of three (3) D12-5 motors. Decals shown here are not part of the Nike Ajax model kit, modelers make their own.

The Launch Pad Scimitar
This large model rocket is not based on an actual missile. The Scimitar is a skill level 4 kit for experienced modelers. The Scimitar flies on a cluster of two 24mm motors. Pick either a pair of D12-5, D12-7 or E15-7 motors for fun and excitement. The finished model is 39.25" tall with a 2.6" airframe diameter. Recovers on a 18" Mylar parachute.

The Launch Pad Rapier S.A.M.
This Rapier S.A.M. model kit is an amazing 1/2 scale replica. The actual missile, as used by the British armed forces, is 88" tall. The many details designed into the Rapier kit truly make this a beautiful military scale model rocket. This skill level 4 kit is intended for modelers who like to build large model rockets as well as launch them. You could also use the finished kit as a display model. The Launch Pad Hawk MIM-23B Surface-to-Air Missile
The Launch Pad Hawk is a 1/5.45 scale model of the original missile once employed by the US military. The finished rocket can be used for mid-power launches or as a stationary display model. This skill level 4 kit is 38" long with a 2.6" diameter. Recommended model rocket motors for the TLP Hawk : D12-3, E30-7, F24-4. Fliskits Saturn 1B 1:282
This is a 1:282 peanut scale model kit of the infamous Saturn 1B NASA vehicle. The NASA vehicle was used to test parts of the Apollo moon mission in the 60's. The finished Saturn 1B model is 9.316" tall and has a 0.976" diameter. It offers excellent levels of detail, often not seen in larger models. This scale model rocket kit has a unique feature. It lets you, the builder, decide what skill level the kit is. You can build it as a skill level 3 kit. If you need more of a challenge, you can make it a skill level 4, or even level 5 model. The instructions are written in a way that allows the modeler to set the skill level for this model rocket kit. You're in control. Recommended engines : 1/2A3-4T, A3-4T, A10-3T. These are the popular 13mm motors which enable the Fliskits Saturn 1B kit to enjoy many, cheap, flights. This Fliskits rocket kit includes a parachute, and silk-screened decals. While the kit includes a launch lug, the rocket can also be flown with a pop lug or piston launcher (neither are included). This is the same design that was used by Jay Marsh to secure a first place at the national NARAM rocketry event in the 90's.
