The Launch Pad Pershing MGM-31A

Yes, bigger is better! This beast has an impressive 3.75" diameter body tube and is well over 3 feet tall (39.75").

While the Pershing may be a huge model rocket, it still flies happily on E and F motors. Recommended engines: Aerotech E30-4, E18-4, or try an F24-24 for serious fun.

If you have a launch rod that is at least 4 foot long, you can also use the E15-4, but don't try it on a windy day.

Exocet MM.40 Model Rocket   The Launch Pad Exocet MM.40

Looking at the Exocet makes you wonder why these are called toy rockets. This tall missile measures 42" from nose to tail and has BT80 body tubes (2.6" diameter).

The real Exocet MM.40 missile flies just above the waterline and scans for possible targets. Once it finds a victim, it strikes near the waterline where it can do most damage, or even sink the enemy ship.

Watch the Exocet go for the skies on a cluster of two Estes D12-5, or D12-7 model rocket engines. Or, if you need more power, try a cluster of two composite Aerotech E15-7 motors.

The Launch Pad Alarm

This mid-power model rocket kit is a scale replica of the original prototype version of the British Alarm.

It's name is short for Air-Launched-Anti-Radar Missile. It is launched from aircraft such as the RAF Tornado GR4.

When launched, the real Alarm climbs to an altitude of around 13 km. It then deploys a parachute and waits for a radar target. As soon as it detects one, the Alarms engages its target at great speed.

Aerospace Speciality Products Kappa-9M   ASP Kappa-9M

The Kappa series was a Japanese sounding rocket series. The first flight was in November 1962. The project developed into the Lambda and Mu satellite launchers.

A big scale model rocket, the ASP Kappa-9M is over 3 1/2 feet long (43.25"). That should draw attention at just about any launch.

Hawk 23A   The Launch Pad Hawk MIM-23A

This classic scale model has a 2.6" wide airframe and stretches 37" tall.

As a mid-power kit, this military beast performs best on D12-3 and F24-4 motors. It is a skill level three kit.

The original Homing All the Way Killer destroyed low-flying enemies in flight. While the US never deployed the Hawk, it served many foreign nations well.

The 23A was eventually replaced by improved series. With a price tag of $250,000 for the real missile, this scale rocket is cheap by comparison.

Fliskits Saturn 1B   Fliskits Saturn 1B 1:282

This is a 1:282 peanut scale model kit of the infamous Saturn 1B NASA vehicle. The NASA vehicle was used to test parts of the Apollo moon mission in the 60's.

The finished Saturn 1B model is 9.316" tall and has a 0.976" diameter. It offers excellent levels of detail, often not seen in larger models.

This scale model rocket kit has a unique feature. It lets you, the builder, decide what skill level the kit is.

You can build it as a skill level 3 kit. If you need more of a challenge, you can make it a skill level 4, or even level 5 model. The instructions are written in a way that allows the modeler to set the skill level for this model rocket kit. You're in control.

Recommended engines : 1/2A3-4T, A3-4T, A10-3T. These are the popular 13mm motors which enable the Fliskits Saturn 1B kit to enjoy many, cheap, flights.

Fliskits Thunderbird

This is a flying sport scale model of the Thunderbird anti-aircraft missile.

It is approximately 1:14 scale, it is not an exact replica.

The real missile was created by the British Army and was nicknamed the Bloodhound System. It was in use from the late 50's to the mid 70's. It was known to be a highly accurate and lethal weapons system.

This rocket kit includes balsa fin stock with fin templates, and paterns to form the booster nose cones from paper.

This Flis rocket kit is intended for more experienced modelers.

Dr Zooch Rockets Jupiter C

This is a scale model of the rocket used to launch the first US satellite, as part of the space race.

The vehicle was known as the Explorer I, and the rocket was a slightly modified version of the Jupiter C, which some would call the Juno I.

The completed Dr Zooch Jupiter C model rocket is about 12" tall. It is one of the easier Dr Zooch kits to build and a great overall flier.

The Jupiter C kit is a single-stage flying model rocket which comes complete with balsa fin stock, pre-printed wraps, and plastic parachute.

This is a scale model of NASA's test vehicle for a series of next-generation manned space vehicles.

ASP WAC Corporal

This is a 1:9 scale model of the USA's first sounding rocket, the Wac Corporal. It was a liquid-fuel rocket and was first launched in 1945.
